Teaching Artist Positions

Arts for Learning MA is seeking Substitute or Guest Teaching Artists for our Expanded Arts Access Residencies

All Art Forms (Fine Art, Dance, Music, Theater, etc.)

Arts for Learning Massachusetts is introducing a new subbing process and we'd love to invite you to join our substitute list! This doesn't require a commitment from you. As a substitute teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of the regular teaching artist. By joining, you'll receive notifications about paid opportunities to substitute teach for last-minute cancellations, teaching artist call-outs, guest artist requests, and emergencies. If this is of interest to you, please follow the instructions in the application linked below and send in your resume (including a cover letter if your
resume alone doesn't fully showcase your capabilities). Don't forget to specify your age specialties in your resume (e.g., K-3).

Availability can be during school time, after-school time, and during the summer.

Locations are in the Greater Boston area.
